Where can parents and children go to enjoy a day of fun, entertainment and helpful information? Memorial Hospital’s annual Baby and Kids Expo, of course!
Memorial is in the midst of planning the fifth annual Expo, which will be held on Saturday, May 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the York Expo Center.
Last year’s event was a hit. More than 3,500 people attended and enjoyed SteveSongs, Zoo America, Tumble Bus, Greater York Center for Dance, Gymboree, the Diaper Derby and much more. Without a doubt, two of the biggest attractions were everyone’s favorite Sesame Street character Walkaround Elmo and Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants.
This year’s Baby and Kids Expo will offer many of the same attractions and some new ones. The event is geared towards expectant parents and families with young children.
“We are proud that the Expo has become such a popular family event. The attendance continues to grow each year,” said Sally Dixon, president and CEO. “There are no other events like this one in York County that can provide young families with the resources they need to raise a healthy family.”
The Expo will be co-sponsored by WARM 103 - FM. Admission is free.
